Cleaning Operative – Job Description 

Location: Telford HalesfieldHours: 

  • Monday– Thursday 6am to 8am Friday 6am to 8.30 

  • Total:10.5 hours per week Contract Type: Parttime, Permanent Work Location: On-site (client premises)  

 

Role Overview 

An exciting new vacancy has arisen for a Cleaning Operative to join our team and provide a high-quality cleaning service at one of our client sites in Telford. You will work independently on site, supported by a highly experienced facilities team who will ensure you have everything you need to succeed. 

Your role is essential to delivering a first-class customer experience and maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Carry out all aspects of general cleaning, including:  

  • Mopping 

  • Vacuuming 

  • Dusting 

  • Cleaning of toilets and washroom facilities 

  • Use cleaning tools, equipment, and machinery safely and as trained 

  • Handle and apply cleaning chemicals in accordance with COSHH guidelines 

  • Maintain high standards of hygiene, safety, and customer service 

  • Ensure all work is completed within the allocated timeframe

About You 

Essential qualities:

Experience in cleaning or facilities is helpful but not essential as full training will be provided.
